Why Short Videos Are Key To Reaching People #Marketing

Are you looking for an effective means to market to your customers in Halifax, Dartmouth, Truro, and elsewhere in Nova Scotia? Videos can help you achieve this goal. Why? Videos can get your message across quickly and effectively. They can be easily shared by others. Videos can help your customers see what you and your business are like more than any other marketing tool.

People feel rushed today. You have to keep in mind that people will not hang around to watch a long video unless it’s vital to their interests or business. Videos can reach a lot of people quickly. A short video can be watched quickly without a huge commitment of time. This is why they can help your business in its marketing efforts.

My latest videos are:

  • One theme or message around social media for business
  • Approximately 1 minute in length
  • Easy to get something from them

I try as much as possible to make each video actionable. After all, if we do not empower, encourage and enable, what good are these videos.

Many of my social media workshop participants are being introduced to creating videos. At first it seems strange to them. But when they see the results, many want to keep on creating them and using them in their marketing efforts.

When you do your video, you might want to think about what your audience wants. It might be one video – one message – one minute. What ever you decide to do, make sure you keep these guidelines front and center:

  1. Make sure your video is useful.
  2. Make sure your video is interesting.

In 2014, videos are going to be a big marketing tool for business. Make sure you consider video for your business.

Let me wish you a great day in business. Here’s to a successful and prosperous day in business for you.

Our attention spans are getting shorter. You need to adapt to get the attention of your customers and those around you. Short videos can spread quickly and be viewed by many without a big commitment. 🙂

My question for you today is this… "What will you do to get others attention?"
