Great thoughts can just pop right into your head. These thoughts can really help you and others be encouraged, empowered and entertained. Do you have a plan for capturing them and using them for your business in Halifax, Dartmouth or elsewhere? Your social media efforts could benefit from sharing these thoughts.
You need some way to capture those thoughts when you are out of the office as well as when you are in the office.
Here are some options:
- Your smart phone can be a great means to capture ideas as you go about your day. There are memo apps that you can dictate. As you walk, you talk. I think of Siri on the iPhone, for example.
- When you are in the office, a whiteboard might be a great solution. Once you get it written down, you can look at it and be further inspired. One great thought can grow into an even better one.
- You might take a voice recorder with you as you travel. The voice recorder can capture your thoughts as they come forth. Some voice recorders have the ability to take voice and turn it into text.
- Don’t forget the low tech pen and paper. This method is still highly effective.
The problem is that if we don’t capture these ideas, they will disappear. And many of the times, they are solutions to problems we are trying to solve. It is important for you business that you capture them and act on them.
Do not neglect an encouraging thought. If it made you smile, it is bound to make others smile as well. These are great to share.
What ever you do, don’t let those ideas get a way from you. Capture them and share them with others. You will be doing yourself and others a favor.
After all, be the the one who inspires others. That’s a great place to be.
